The 13th edition of “"Key Energy - The renewable energy expo" offers a unique opportunity to get up to date on the latest news in the field of sustainabilityand get educated on the most recent issues.

Among the many activities on the Key Energy 2019 program, those that stand out are the conferences and workshops dedicated to renewable sources, e-mobility, and business models of new sustainable cities.

The Ferrara-based company Giulio Barbieri Srl has dedicated an entire area of its production to electric mobility featuring aluminium solar carports which can be used with all photovoltaic panels and charging stations for bikes and electric cars.
Two companies of the sector, who have been working closely with Giulio Barbieri for several years, chose to display some of these products at the green Key Energy fair in Rimini.

The first, Smart City Project's Group, is a company from Bergamo that operates in the field of services for businesses and public administrations. They aim to promote the culture of interconnection between citizens, businesses, and public authorities as the first step towards a smart city.

Smart City Project's Group will be among the protagonists of a special area of the fair called "Sustainable City" - an innovative space, a source of ideas to design the future of cities with a sustainable approach. It will be used to present solutions, technologies, and projects that aim to improve the citizens' quality of life and encourage sustainable development. In this area of the fair, you can experience the technologies and services available to the public authorities for energy efficiency and the redevelopment of urban real estate.
Smart City Project's Group will be located in Pavilion D7, Stand 28. Here every visitor will be welcomed by an atmosphere of "green" innovation and will be able to discover all the services offered by the company in different fields: Mobility, Security, Health Care, Utility, I.O.T. (Internet of Things), and Government.
Particular attention will be given to e-mobility, a matter on which the company collaborates with Giulio Barbieri Srl, through the presentation of the bike charger for an e-bike sharing service.

"We chose Giulio Barbieri's Evo-Bike bike charger because it is the only bike charger to offer a device for locking the handlebars of bicycles during the charging process. In addition to this, we were impressed by the essential design, customisable with corporate colours and logos," says Franco Volse, one of the company's name partners.

Moving on to another area of the Key Energy fair, you can meet and learn about the second company that chose a Giulio Barbieri product for this important event: Green Energy Italia.

It is a wholesale company founded in 2010 specialising in new technology for home and business. It relies on a network of more than 500 installation experts with whom it has built more than 1200 photovoltaic systems and 1000 photovoltaic systems with accumulators in just over three years. They always choose cutting-edge technologies that can meet the needs of their customers.
Green Energy Italia will be at the Key Energy fair, Pavilion B7 Stand 146, presenting their latest innovations in the production and installation of photovoltaic panels.
This company decided to use the Pensilsole Middle solar carport by Giulio Barbieri, with a concrete base to exhibit and present to the public at the fair a proposal for a photovoltaic system.

Green Energy Italia chose the Giulio Barbieri's model because one of the strengths of Giulio Barbieri's solar carports is their excellent adaptability to any photovoltaic panel on the market. A nice touch: a wonderful black Tesla will be parked under the carport.

We can, therefore, confidently say that Key Energy is not only a showcase for new products and proposals, but it is also an excellent opportunity for meeting and discussion between key players in the sector and a chance for all energy professionals to get up to date on the latest issues. The Scientific Committee of Key Energy is made up of Institutions, Industrial Associations, Technical and Scientific Associations, Organisations, and Foundations. The 2019 programme of conferences will focus on technological innovations, financial models, and organisational solutions that can facilitate Italy's path towards the ambitious European 2030 objectives. Plenty of attention will be given to the analysis of challenges and opportunities for Italian companies in international markets, as well as to the opportunity for foreign investors to get to know the Italian market better.
