The Giulio Barbieri festival tents are dyed pink, bringing colour the Circus Maximus in Rome
From Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th May, the Giulio Barbieri festival tents hosted "Race for the Cure", the biggest event for the fight against breast cancer in Italy and in the world in the unique setting of the Circus Maximus in Rome.
THE NUMBERS OF THE EVENT
Giulio Barbieri S.r.l. was able to respond to the needs and organisational requirements put forward by the creators of the 18th edition of the "pink" event in a timely and precise manner, thanks to the constructions that are easy to handle and to install, that welcomed more than 72,000 people.
The company provided more than 122 Elite modular tents, specially set up and marked with the colours and brands of the Race for The Cure.
IDEAL MARQUEES FOR HIRE
The health village set up for the occasion was entirely composed of modular marquees whose main feature is that they are a perfect fit for the rental sector.
The uprights are made of aluminium, a lightweight and naturally anti-corrosive material, which makes the assembly process extremely easy and fast, ensuring a perfect resistance to adverse atmospheric conditions.
The structures can be joined together, which makes them extremely versatile and capable of creating large multifunctional spaces.
The cover sheets used are made of PVC by Precontraint Ferrari, a leading company in the production of materials used in the construction of marquees.
The individual parts are CE certified and the whole manufacturing process of the festival tents and of the other products by Barbieri S.r.l., from the design to the production, takes place inside the Poggio Renatico plant in the province of Ferrara.
The company produces both permanent and portable structures, just like those used at the Race for the cure, an event which, since 2000, has been running one of the most important campaigns in the world for the prevention of breast cancer.
After Rome, Race for the cure aims to promote its many initiatives dedicated to health, sport, and scientific popularisation in other cities.
The next appointments will take place in Bologna from 21st to 23rd September and in Brescia from 5th to 7th October.
